ATTENDING A MOMS AND TOTS CLASS
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
The class is for mom and baby, but we know that a lot of moms work and it’s not always possible for you to be here.
Don’t feel bad about not being able to be here personally, come whenever you can. You are welcome to send daddy, granny or a day carer to join when you can’t attend, they are most welcome!
The class is about bonding, but it is also about stimulation and development, you can still tick some of those boxes!

The final part of the class is spent outdoors with gross motor play for the little ones, while moms enjoy tea, coffee, and a social catch-up.
WHAT TO BRING
A Little Snack
A small snack for your tot is always a good idea, as the class is active and little ones often work up an appetite.
Please note that we are a peanut-free environment, so kindly avoid peanuts or peanut butter, and please discourage food sharing where possible.
Spare Clothes
Our sensory activities can occasionally get a little wet or messy, so a spare outfit is always recommended.
Sunscreen & Hats
The final 30 minutes of the class is spent outside, so please make sure your tot arrives with sunscreen applied and a hat packed.
TEA AND SOCIAL TIME
We end each class with outside play for the little ones, while moms enjoy tea, coffee, and a catch-up. To keep this lovely part of the morning going, every confirmed mom is allocated a tea week during the term, where she brings a small treat or snack to share with the group.
It’s a simple way for everyone to contribute and helps create the warm, connected feel that makes our class so special. More than anything, it’s a chance to get out of the house, meet other moms in the same season of life, and enjoy some proper adult conversation.
DRESS
Keep it casual and comfortable for both you and your little one.
Bare feet, socks, or shoes, whatever feels most comfortable for you. Many moms prefer to leave their shoes at the door, and they’ll be perfectly safe there.
We include sensory play in every session, which can get a little messy from time to time. Don’t worry — all materials used are washable and child-friendly, but it’s always a good idea to bring a spare set of clothes for your little one, just in case.
